Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to inform therapy planning, using a range of assessment tools and methodologies.

• Facilitate engaging and effective therapy sessions via telehealth, utilizing a strengths-based and client-centered approach to treatment.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client, with specific strategies for short-term and long-term goals.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation of all sessions, adhering to ethical guidelines and state regulations.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to remain updated on the latest therapeutic strategies and interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position involves working primarily with diverse populations including individuals, couples, and families who are navigating various personal challenges such as relationship issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. You will have the opportunity to foster meaningful connections and provide therapeutic support to an array of clients, each with unique backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Current LMFT licensure in Maryland with a clean record.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in applying evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport and trust quickly with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of direct clinical experience in outpatient settings, working with a variety of clients.

• Experience utilizing telehealth platforms effectively to deliver treatment.
\n
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and LGBTQ+ affirmative therapy.
