TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Englewood, Colorado, 80112!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: MS/Tele Float Pool Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: 2 years of MS-Tele experience, prior neuro experience preferred Description: Candidates are expected to float throughout a defined zone. The zone covers a 60-mile radius from the city center. Travelers must arrange housing that accommodates this requirement. Clinicians must be in state for the week of orientation. Travelers cannot miss more than 3 shifts in a 13-week contract. A 2-week notice must be submitted to avoid a penalty fee. Shifts are generally scheduled 4-6 weeks in advance. Schedule formats may vary based on facility assignment. Travelers are required to be flexible and assist in filling scheduling gaps. Time off requests need to be submitted before starting the assignment. Weekend requirements include 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule. Holiday rotation may be required. There is a rare call or standby requirement for low census. Assignments may vary based on patient acuity levels. The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:5-6 based on acuity. The position involves working with adults and geriatric populations. Common patient diagnoses include cardiac, neuro, ortho, oncology, and surgical cases. Charge nurses do not typically take a patient assignment unless necessary. Designated charge nurses are available on each unit. Nurse aides are present in the unit, supporting the nursing staff. Respiratory therapy equipment is available as needed. A unit-specific orientation will be provided with a preceptor. Dress code allows for any color scrubs. Charting is conducted using the EPIC system. This role requires floating within the assigned zone. Flexibility and adaptability are essential for success in this position.
