Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and maintain trusting and positive relationships with patients to foster a supportive therapeutic alliance.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental health disorders, utilizing established evidence-based practices.

• Create individualized and culturally sensitive treatment plans that address each patient’s unique needs, preferences, and circumstances.

• Provide regular counseling sessions, adapting therapeutic interventions as required to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Conduct ongoing evaluations and adjust treatment plans based on periodic assessments of patient progress and feedback.

• Document all patient interactions thoroughly and accurately in compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for referrals and to address co-occurring disorders when necessary, enhancing the total care experience.

• Actively participate in staff meetings and continuing education to stay current on mental health trends and methodologies that can benefit our practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role as an LMFT at Flourish Counsel Connect, you'll work with a diverse patient population ranging from individuals facing anxiety and depression to couples grappling with relationship dynamics and families dealing with systemic issues. Your ability to understand and appreciate the varied backgrounds and experiences of your clients will enhance therapeutic efficacy and foster a deeper connection with those you serve.

Qualifications\n

• A valid LMFT license issued by the appropriate state board.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or an allied field.

• Demonstrable experience and training in addiction counseling and related therapeutic interventions are essential.

• Thorough knowledge of evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.

• Exceptional therapeutic skills and an aptitude for motivating clients toward achieving their mental health goals.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.

• Experience in an outpatient mental health setting is highly desirable.
