St. Paul Behavioral Health Center is seeking passionate and skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapists to fill full-time roles within our remote outpatient psychiatric office. As a mental health professional, you will be an integral part of our team, utilizing your expertise to provide therapeutic support to individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to accurately identify patient needs and establish tailored treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to promote healing and resilience in individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and support networks, fostering community and understanding among clients facing similar challenges.
\n
• Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists and psychologists to provide coordinated and holistic patient care, ensuring that all aspects of a patient’s mental health are addressed.

• Offer crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, providing immediate support and stabilization.
\n
• Educate patients regarding their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and relevant community resources to enhance their support networks.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in line with ethical and legal standards while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient information efficiently.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and continuous professional development activities to stay abreast of best practices and innovations in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse patient population that includes individuals dealing with a range of mental health disorders, from young adults to seniors. Our clients come from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, providing the opportunity to employ culturally competent care. Your work will be instrumental in helping these patients navigate their mental health journeys and achieve their personal goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
\n
• Demonstrated understanding of a range of mental health disorders and the latest evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proven track record of effectively conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and formulating individualized treatment plans.
\n
• Experience delivering therapeutic interventions to diverse populations, either in individual or group settings.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and diagnostic skills to create a safe and trusting therapeutic environment.

• Strong ethical standards and professional judgment, coupled with excellent boundaries in clinical practice.
\n
• Comfortable with using electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in teletherapy and virtual treatment settings is highly preferred, given the remote nature of the role.

• Familiarity with community resources and support services in the Augusta area.

• Background in crisis intervention and management.

Compensation and Benefits\n
