They stay with us because they find a fulfilling career, room to grow, and opportunities to excel.We are a team of home service experts who go the extra mile to ensure peak performance for your home's plumbing, air conditioning, and electrical systems.The Big TaskYou will help us enhance performance and operational decision-making throughout the company by ensuring our accounting and financials are timely and accurate.You will contribute to the success of our accounting department by ensuring our bills are paid timely and accurately.You will contribute to the success of our accounting department by ensuring our customers are being billed timely and accurately.Key Sub TasksEnsure timely and accurate billing of our customersEnsure our bills are paid timely and accuratelyReconcile bank statements monthlyMatch purchase orders with packing slips and vendor statements for accuracyReconcile supplier statements for accuracyEnter all credit card transactionsReconcile credit card statements monthlyTrack credits for warranty returnsProperly account for prepaid expenses and recognize in correct periodsReview jobs from prior day for accuracyFind and fix errors from jobs prior dayFollow up on open jobs where payment was not collected from prior dayDeposit funds for check, credit card, and cash paymentsFollow collection process and collect on open jobs not paidMaintain accuracy of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Customer AccountsEnsure jobs are closed and accounted for in the correct periodDesired Skills and ExperienceHighly organized and process driven with exceptional follow through abilitiesIn-depth understanding of debit and credit accounting processesThorough attention to detail with on time deliveryProficient with Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel, and QuickbooksExcellent understanding of accounting rules & procedures including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Experience: 3 Years (Required)Experience: Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)What We OfferOur top performers are among the highest paid in Boca Raton.Medical insurance - we pay for 50% of your insurance premiums for health, dental, and vision.Paid time off, which also includes birthdays and holidays.A family.
