Full Charge Bookkeeper Boca Raton, FL (On-site) and West Palm Beach Location

Pay: $26.00 – $30.00 / hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

About the Role We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day accounting functions and financial operations in Boca Raton. In this position, you will oversee the full accounting cycle, maintain general ledgers, handle payroll, manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• General Ledger & Closing: Maintain general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries, perform bank/credit card reconciliations, and execute end-of-month and end-of-year close.

• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process vendor invoices, manage payments, prepare client billing, and handle collections.

• Payroll Processing: Process accurate bi-weekly/monthly payroll, maintain employee records, and assist with payroll tax filings.

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate balance sheets, income statements, and monthly financial packages for leadership.

• Tax Preparation Support: Maintain organized records and work directly with external CPAs for annual tax prep and audits.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 3–5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience.

• Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop or Online) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).

• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance preferred, or equivalent experience.

• Skillset: Proficent knowledge of GAAP, high attention to detail, and excellent organizational/communication skills.
