This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in schedule and work hours. Our LCSWs work from the comfort of their home while connecting with patients across our hospice center. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough bio-psychosocial evaluations to assess patients' mental health and identify barriers to treatment, enabling the formulation of tailored treatment plans.

• Provide ethical and culturally competent outpatient therapy, utilizing individual and group therapy modalities to address the diverse needs of patients.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical and support staff, to develop and implement comprehensive care programs that align with each patient’s treatment goals.

• Regularly document social work interventions and patient progress in accordance with departmental standards, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Educate patients and their families on social work recommendations while empowering them to engage actively in their treatment journey.

• Advocate for the needs of patients and families within the community, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and support systems.

• Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and remain current with best practices in social work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with individuals experiencing chronic, terminal illnesses, and their families. This population often faces emotional distress as they navigate complex psychosocial challenges, requiring you to provide intensive support through empathetic listening and tailored therapeutic interventions. Your role is vital in facilitating conversations about end-of-life planning, grief, and coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Maryland.

• Strong understanding of the ethical and professional standards in social work practice, particularly in hospice and palliative care settings.

• At least 6 months to 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in a health or mental health environment, focusing on working with patients in hospice care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, we are excited to offer a sign-on bonus for the right candidate joining our growing team.
