We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Manufacturing Operations Coordinator to join our team on-site in Hicksville.

The Manufacturing Operations Coordinator is responsible for ensuring commitments to customers are met by coordinating and overseeing orders and directly communicating with manufacturing. This role’s goal is to accurately clarify customer expectations, validating order requirements, and ensuring product components are available.

Essential Functions:

• Performs account set-up by completing vendor paperwork – includes all relevant information (HQ address, minimum order details, shelf-life requirements, etc.)
• Responsible for new customers, new vendor, and new item set-up, inventory reporting
• Ensures the consistent, accurate entry of EDI information on customer portals
• Understands the manufacturing process – possesses the ability to validate production orders, correct issues, and direct team members as needed
• Partners with Procurement, Purchasing and Production to develop and deliver products that meet customer and business requirements
• Able to verify information and ask the right questions to initiate a new product
• Ensures products meet established standards and that details are classified properly
• Ability to support operations and plan for production needs
• Regularly maintains and updates customized price lists
• May perform other duties or work on other projects as required by the department.

Minimum Requirements:

• One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in a comparable coordinator role in production / manufacturing
• Experience working with vendors, inventory, and food manufacturing processes
• Fully proficient in Microsoft tools / applications and EDI; systems oriented
• Advanced Excel skills (complex spreadsheets, x-lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
• Outstanding problem-solving and planning skills
• Passion for meeting and exceeding customer expectations
• Strong verbal, written and email communication skills
• A college degree preferred
• Must be able to commute to and work on site in Hicksville
