Graphic Image manufactures and sells a variety of high quality leather based products such as handbags, desk accessories and leather-bound books. Our products are sold through most of the major retail chains as well as direct to consumers through our own website. Our products are produced in our own manufacturing facility located in Melville NY

About the Position

The position of Manufacturing Productivity Coordinator is a newly created position which will be critical to ensure that our manufacturing processes are fully optimized while still maintaining our focus on customer needs.

We are looking for an experienced hands-on production leader who is committed to production excellence through leadership and best practices.

The key responsibilities are:

• Work with our manufacturing teams to analyze our current production processes
• Identify and implement improvements which improve productivity
• Develop performance metrics to track productivity improvements
• Review and update our direct labor costing standards to ensure accurate inventory valuation
• Special projects as required related to manufacturing, warehousing, quality control and inventory management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing operation
• Willingness to learn our manufacturing processes
• Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent communications skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Familiarity with the Spanish language is a plus
• Compensation based on relevant experience
