Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand the unique experiences and needs of each patient.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic interventions that align with patients’ cultural backgrounds.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions to address a wide range of mental health concerns, promoting resilience and emotional well-being.

• Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and holistic care for your clients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing mental health emergencies, delivering immediate assistance when necessary.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and connect them with relevant community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation to meet legal and ethical standards while ensuring compliance with best practices.

• Participate actively in case conferences and team meetings, sharing insights and contributing to the ongoing improvement of our services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve a diverse clientele encompassing individuals from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds, including the LGBTQ+ community and immigrant populations. Your expertise will help to address the unique challenges faced by these groups, ensuring access to tailored mental health support that respects and incorporates their cultural contexts.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required. Preference may be given to candidates with a Master’s or Doctoral degree.

• Must hold a current and valid license to practice as a mental health counselor in the state of Massachusetts.

• Demonstrated experience in providing culturally aware mental health care and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.

• Excellent communication skills along with an empathetic and patient-centered approach to therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
