Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health status through structured interviews and standardized tools to identify their needs and treatment goals.

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans focused on various issues, including depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and eating disorders.

• Facilitate regular one-on-one therapy sessions, employing a range of therapeutic modalities tailored to meet the diverse needs of clients.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and families, equipping them with the necessary strategies and coping tools essential for recovery.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, to coordinate care and communicate relevant issues regarding a client’s treatment.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss treatment progress and share insights on best practices within the field of mental health counseling.

• Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes as per organizational policy and regulatory standards.

• Engage in crisis intervention as needed, providing immediate support and developing safety plans in high-stress situations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• Minimum of four years of direct clinical experience in mental health counseling.
\n
• Strong understanding of diverse mental health disorders and a thorough knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Proficient in delivering both individual and group therapy sessions in an inclusive and culturally sensitive manner.

• Exemplary crisis intervention skills and the capacity to remain composed during challenging situations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven track record of building rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and essential computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
