Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to understand the severity, frequency, and impact of mood disorder symptoms in clients, establishing a clear diagnostic picture.

• Collaborate with clients by designing individualized treatment plans that align with their personal goals, preferences, and lifestyle considerations.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) during virtual sessions.

• Provide thorough education to clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment modalities, and effective self-care techniques.

• Regularly monitor client progress throughout the therapeutic process, utilizing feedback and observational data to adjust treatment plans accordingly.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clinician will predominantly work with a diverse array of clients suffering from mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our team serves individuals from various backgrounds, ages, and demographics, emphasizing personalized care tailored to each patient's unique narrative and cultural context.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Two years of post-licensure experience within the specialty of mood disorders is preferred.

• Proficient in evidence-based treatment methodologies such as CBT and DBT.

• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals.

• A proven track record of achieving positive outcomes in treating mood disorders.

Preferred Experience\n
