Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and in-depth evaluations to establish personalized treatment plans for clients based on their unique challenges and circumstances.

• Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions suited for individuals, couples, families, and groups, enriching the therapeutic experience and outcomes.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, adapted to meet diverse client needs.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and informed care, encompassing a range of services and coordinating efforts for improved client outcomes.

• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date clinical records that comply with ethical and legal standards, safeguarding client confidentiality and facilitating continuity of care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is necessary for this position.

• Must hold an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.

• At least two years of experience in providing counseling services in a clinical or community mental health setting.
