Key Responsibilities\n

As a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments by meeting with patients and evaluating their mental health status using diagnostic tools and patient interviews.

Developing tailored course plans for therapy that address specific issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.
\n
Facilitating regular therapy sessions, employing methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to equip clients with coping strategies.

Maintaining accurate and confidential records of client sessions in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Collaborating with other healthcare providers and referring clients to psychiatrists or specialists when needed, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse client base, including adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. Many clients may struggle with emotional regulation, relationship issues, and self-esteem enhancement. Your role will involve offering compassionate support and culturally competent care to ensure clients from various backgrounds feel understood and respected.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

A current and valid professional license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in New York State.
\n
At least two years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.

Extensive knowledge of various mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and cultural factors impacting therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The Annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience. Additionally, our organization offers:
