Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with Unity Point, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive client assessments and developing individualized therapy plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Providing therapeutic interventions based on proven methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic approaches.

• Continuously monitoring client progress and adjusting therapy techniques as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Maintaining detailed and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participating in team meetings and case reviews with multidisciplinary teams to foster a holistic approach to client care.

• Engaging in ongoing professional development, including workshops, to stay current with the latest practices and research in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, with a preference for those who have worked in a clinical setting.

• A strong understanding of ethical and legal standards pertinent to mental health services.
