Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you the convenience of working from home while still being part of a supportive community health clinic atmosphere. You will be using telehealth platforms alongside electronic medical record (EMR) systems to manage patient care effectively.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine and meet the unique needs of each patient, utilizing appropriate diagnostic tools and frameworks.

• Facilitate communication with supervisors, direct care staff, family members, and guardians to provide updates on patient progress, ensuring a cohesive care approach.
\n
• Design and maintain a tentative schedule for appointments, home visits, and monitoring observations to ensure the effectiveness of ongoing therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Coordinate and execute home visits for in-depth observations, providing insightful feedback that contributes to patient care plans.
\n
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings regularly to discuss case management and contribute to a collaborative approach to patient care.
\n
• Document and generate monthly and quarterly progress notes to detail and track client development, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
\n
• Organize and lead training sessions for staff to ensure all personnel are adept at implementing therapeutic programs and maintaining compliance with documentation standards.
\n
• Maintain thorough and confidential records, ensuring important information is accessible and up-to-date for stakeholders.
\n
• Act as a community liaison, engaging with local mental health organizations to support outreach and advocacy for our mission.
\n
• Contribute to the development of training materials and programs aimed at improving operational procedures and patient engagement strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base, including both adults and youth, who present a variety of mental health challenges. Specializing in family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse, and trauma-informed care will be highly beneficial in addressing the unique needs of our clients and fostering their journey towards healing and wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Washington State is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is required.
\n
• Proficiency with EMR software, ensuring accurate and efficient client documentation.
\n
• A solid grounding in legal and ethical standards relevant to mental health practice.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport across diverse backgrounds.

• Collaboration experience in a healthcare team setting is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

• Areas of specialization including family therapy, trauma-informed care, and substance misuse treatment are highly preferred.

• Previous experience in community health settings will be advantageous.

• The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, dependent on experience and caseload availability.
