Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to create personalized therapy plans that cater to unique needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy in individual and group settings.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops, promoting engagement among participants and adapting techniques to fit diverse group dynamics.

• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism.

• Engage in continual professional development through workshops and seminars to stay updated on the latest mental health research and therapeutic practices.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic approaches to client care, coordinating with social workers, medical professionals, and support staff.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary client population includes individuals seeking support for emotional health challenges, substance use issues, and those with developmental disabilities or brain injuries. Clients may range from adolescents to adults, and sessions are tailored to address their specific psychological, emotional, and behavioral needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.

• A thorough understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
