Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individualized therapy sessions utilizing client-centered practices and evidence-based therapeutic modalities, which may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy.

• Perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments to create tailored treatment plans that align with each client’s unique journey toward recovery.

• Facilitate group sessions, partner with families, and provide couple's therapy to enhance the overall support network for clients.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care that respects each client's perspective and goals.
\n
• Maintain accurate, thorough, and confidential clinical documentation following legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional development, including attending workshops and staying updated with new developments in mental health practices.

Your role will involve working with a diverse and multifaceted client population, including individuals grappling with emotional distress, substance abuse issues, trauma, and developmental disabilities. Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is essential.

• A valid and unrestricted LPC license in the state of Connecticut is required.

• Commitment to maintaining an in-depth understanding of legal and ethical standards in the field.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to connect and establish rapport with a wide range of clients.

• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment, showcasing strong teamwork and flexible communication.

• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other relevant technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience in clinical counseling is preferred, particularly with a focus on areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma, or substance misuse.

• Experience in community-based mental health settings or an interdisciplinary team is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, along with a competitive bonus structure.
