Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs to develop tailored treatment plans.

• Provide individual therapy sessions as well as group therapy sessions to diverse populations including individuals, couples, and families.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused strategies, to address client needs effectively.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and peer support specialists, to ensure holistic and integrated care.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, complying with ethical and legal standards to protect client confidentiality.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to stay informed about the latest mental health research and treatment modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our LPCs work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults who experience a range of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Many of our clients have limited access to traditional mental health services, making your role crucial in delivering care to underserved communities.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Current and active licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.
\n
• Minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, with a strong preference for experience in a mental health setting.

• Proficient understanding of ethical guidelines, laws, and regulations governing therapeutic practices.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to connect with a variety of clients effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
