Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their mental health needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, to deliver effective treatment to individuals, couples, and families.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system for efficient record-keeping.

• Engage with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff, to create a holistic care approach for each client.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in the field of mental health.

• Support clients in setting and achieving personal goals throughout their therapeutic journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Prevail Counseling Center, you will work primarily with underserved populations facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clients often come from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds and may experience barriers to accessing traditional mental health services. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in counseling, preferably in a mental health setting.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in the practice of counseling.

• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele and exhibit excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits\n
