Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs, developing individualized treatment plans based on evidenced-based practices.

• Engage clients in therapeutic sessions, delivering evidence-supported therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, ensuring a safe environment where clients can share and learn from each other.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to monitor client progress and adapt treatment strategies as necessary.

• Provide crisis intervention services when required, offering immediate support to clients in distress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on serving diverse populations including individuals and families facing a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship issues. You will engage with clients who may have limited access to mental health services, providing them with quality care that is both accessible and compassionate.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• Your candidate profile should reflect at least two years of counseling experience, ideally within a clinical or community health setting.

• Specialization or extensive experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma, or substance misuse is highly favored.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload availability.
