Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough ongoing assessments to tailor mental health interventions that meet the unique needs of each patient.

• Maintaining effective communication with supervisors, family members, and other key stakeholders to provide holistic support for each individual's journey.
\n
• Providing a structured schedule outlining your appointments, home visits, and assessments to ensure efficient service delivery.
\n
• Coordinating in-home assessments and chart reviews to amplify the effectiveness of therapeutic programs.
\n
• Ensuring adherence to program plans by regularly monitoring and evaluating progress.
\n
• Participating in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings to collaborate and strategize the best paths forward for client progress.
\n
• Documenting monthly and quarterly progress notes, tracking client development and outcomes.
\n
• Organizing training sessions to ensure that all team members are equipped with the necessary skills to implement the program effectively.
\n
• Performing follow-up visits and interviews to reinforce client support and tailor interventions as needed.
\n
• Serving as a liaison between the public, the mental health community, and our clinic for a cohesive support network.
\n
• Contributing to the development of training materials aimed at enhancing programs available to clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adults and youth who are facing a variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse disorders. Your expertise in specialized areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, and trauma-informed care will be pivotal in providing targeted support and improving overall patient outcomes.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• A current and unrestricted LPC license in the state of Georgia.
\n
• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, providing a solid foundation for this critical work.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practices.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster trusting relationships with diverse clients.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and associated technologies to streamline the documentation process.

Preferred Experience\n

While the required experience must include two years in counseling, we highly value applicants with specialized experience in family therapy, trauma-informed care, and substance misuse interventions.
