This role allows you to work remotely while actively contributing to the mental health and well-being of clients who have experienced trauma. Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining consistent access to our outpatient office facilities for meetings and collaborative sessions. Our virtual setup is designed to ensure that counselors can provide effective mental health services without geographical constraints, all while adhering to strict privacy and care standards. The regular workweek is maintained from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial patient evaluations, gathering detailed histories to identify mental or emotional disorders and responding to trauma-related challenges.

• Develop and monitor personalized treatment plans, continually assessing patient progress to adjust strategies as necessary for optimal outcomes.

• Engage in effective communication to educate patients and their families about trauma coping mechanisms and mental health resources.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers, social agencies, and community organizations to facilitate comprehensive support for patients, ensuring they receive the full spectrum of care.

• Participate in regular supervised discussions and training sessions, maintaining engagement with current methods and best practices in trauma-informed care.

• Provide expert guidance on stress management and emotional resilience tactics, offering workshops or consultations as needed.

• Complete ongoing professional development requirements to uphold your National Certified Counselor certification and stay informed of evolving mental health techniques.

Your primary focus will be on patients dealing with trauma injuries, a demographic that often faces complex mental health challenges. You will work closely with individuals who require comprehensive assessments and tailored treatment approaches. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• A valid Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) designation is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
