IT Support & Systems Administrator

TouchCare | Stamford, CT
Full-Time | Onsite

The Opportunity

TouchCare is seeking a hands-on, AI-fluent IT Support & Systems Administrator to serve as the primary onsite technology resource at our Stamford, CT headquarters.

This person will own the day-to-day employee technology experience—from computer setup, equipment, and new-hire readiness to systems access, troubleshooting, security, and SaaS administration.

We are looking for someone who is highly responsive, organized, and comfortable being the person employees turn to when technology isn't working. Just as importantly, this person should be curious about AI, automation, and how emerging technology can make TouchCare more efficient as we grow.

What You'll OwnComputer Setup & Employee Technology

• Own the setup, configuration, deployment, and ongoing support of employee computers

• Prepare laptops and equipment for all new hires before Day 1

• Install and configure required applications, security tools, browsers, extensions, and company settings

• Set up monitors, docking stations, keyboards, headsets, and other peripherals

• Configure Wi-Fi, printers, conference rooms, and other office technology

• Troubleshoot laptop, hardware, software, connectivity, audio/video, and peripheral issues

• Manage computer replacements, repairs, upgrades, and refresh cycles

• Ensure devices meet company security requirements, including encryption, endpoint protection, updates, and required security controls

• Maintain accurate inventory of computers, equipment, serial numbers, assignments, and lifecycle status

• Recover, wipe, reconfigure, and redeploy equipment when employees leave the organization

Expectation: Every employee should have a fully configured, secure, and working computer and technology setup from Day 1.

Systems Administration & Access

Own and coordinate employee access across TouchCare's growing technology ecosystem, including:

Google Workspace / Gmail
Accounts • Email • Groups • Permissions • Authentication • Security

Zendesk + Vitally
User Setup • Permissions • Access • Troubleshooting

Salesforce + HubSpot
User Provisioning • Permissions • Authentication • License Management • Support

ElevenLabs + AI Tools
Accounts • Access • Permissions • Security • Adoption

Additional business, productivity, security, and SaaS platforms as TouchCare's technology stack evolves.

Responsibilities include:

• Create, modify, and deactivate employee system accounts

• Manage permissions and role-based access

• Own password, MFA, authentication, and access troubleshooting

• Maintain an accurate inventory of systems, users, licenses, and application ownership

• Conduct regular user-access and permissions reviews

• Coordinate with functional system owners and vendors when more advanced support is required

• Identify unused licenses, duplicate applications, and opportunities for system consolidation

• Develop standardized processes for provisioning and deprovisioning access

New Hire Onboarding & Offboarding

Own the complete IT readiness process for employees joining or leaving TouchCare.

For every new hire:

Computer → Equipment → Google Account → Email → Systems → Permissions → MFA → Day 1 Support

• Partner with Talent/People teams ahead of start dates

• Prepare and test all equipment before Day 1

• Create Google Workspace credentials

• Provision appropriate business systems based on role

• Configure MFA and security requirements

• Provide onsite Day 1 technology orientation and troubleshooting

• Maintain role-based onboarding checklists

For offboarding:

• Immediately deactivate accounts and system access

• Recover company equipment

• Coordinate password/access changes where necessary

• Wipe and prepare computers for redeployment

• Document completion of all access removal requirements

Onsite IT Support

Serve as the go-to onsite IT resource for the Stamford office.

• Provide hands-on desk-side technical support

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, systems, connectivity, and access issues

• Support conference rooms and meeting technology

• Resolve issues directly whenever possible and manage vendor escalation when needed

• Track recurring issues and identify permanent solutions

• Create documentation and self-service resources for common employee questions

AI Fluency & Automation

AI fluency is an important competency for this role.

• Confidently use generative AI tools in day-to-day work

• Use AI to improve troubleshooting, documentation, knowledge management, and employee support

• Identify repetitive IT processes that can be automated

• Help employees safely adopt approved AI tools

• Support access and permissions for AI-enabled platforms

• Evaluate emerging technology and potential business applications

• Understand responsible AI use, privacy, security, and appropriate handling of company and healthcare-related information

We don't expect an AI engineer. We do expect someone who actively uses AI and looks for opportunities to make IT operations smarter and more efficient.

Security & Compliance

Support TouchCare's technology controls within a healthcare environment, including:

HIPAA | SOC 2 | Vanta | Access Reviews | Device Compliance | Endpoint Security | SaaS Permissions | AI Governance | Audit Support

• Maintain secure device and access standards

• Support Vanta administration and evidence collection

• Assist with SOC 2 controls and audit preparation

• Conduct access reviews

• Support vendor security processes

• Maintain IT policies and documentation

• Partner with internal and external security resources

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of hands-on IT support, systems administration, desktop support, or similar experience

• Strong experience setting up, configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting employee computers

• Experience administering Google Workspace / Gmail

• Experience provisioning and deprovisioning users across SaaS applications

• Experience with identity and access management, permissions, MFA, and authentication

• Familiarity with systems such as Zendesk, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar business platforms

• Strong hardware, software, connectivity, and systems troubleshooting skills

• Experience with device management, security, encryption, and endpoint protection

• Demonstrated fluency using generative AI tools

• Strong understanding of IT asset and software-license management

• Excellent organization and documentation skills

• Ability to explain technology clearly to non-technical employees

• Highly responsive, service-oriented, and comfortable owning problems through resolution

• Comfortable working independently in a growing environment

Nice to Have

• Healthcare or health technology experience

• Familiarity with HIPAA, SOC 2, and Vanta

• Experience with Zendesk, Vitally, Salesforce, HubSpot, ElevenLabs, and AI-enabled tools

• Device or endpoint-management platform experience

• Experience with workflow automation

• Experience working with managed IT or cybersecurity partners

• Experience helping a growing company build or formalize its internal IT function

Location & Onsite Requirement

This is not a remote IT support position.

Compensation: The salary range for this role is $60,000–$80,000 , based on experience, skills, qualifications, and alignment with the scope of the role.
