Job Description:
You will facilitate Scrum practices, remove impediments, and keep communication clear between the development team, product owners, and court stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach the team and stakeholders on Scrum and Agile principles; foster ownership and continuous improvement.
- Partner with the Product Owner to keep a healthy, prioritized backlog with clear acceptance criteria.
- Identify, track, and remove impediments; manage dependencies, risks, and issues across teams.
- Track and report sprint metrics (velocity, burndown, release progress) to project leadership.
- Coordinate release planning, AWS environment promotions, UAT scheduling, and stakeholder communication.
- Maintain Jira boards, workflows, and dashboards, with visibility into GitHub development activity.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years as a Scrum Master on software development teams.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM I/II, or SAFe Scrum Master certification.
- Proven experience supporting cross-functional teams (backend, full stack, QA).
- Strong command of Jira, including reporting and dashboards; familiarity with GitHub workflows.
- Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Experience managing dependencies and risks on multi-module enterprise projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Government or public-sector IT modernization experience.
- Background in court, justice, or case management domains.
- Experience with teams delivering on AWS and with AI-enabled products.
- Exposure to SAFe or scaled Agile environments.
Key Skills:
Scrum Master, SAFe, AWS, Redshift, Agile, CSM & PSM Certified.
