Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This is an onsite, contract-based role for skilled Speech Language Pathologists to collaborate with dedicated K-12 teams in educational settings throughout areas including Grand Blanc, Lansing, Detroit, and nearby regions.

Successful candidates will provide speech and language therapy for diverse student populations, fostering positive outcomes across multiple school environments. Both full credentialed SLPs and strong Clinical Fellows (with supervisor support in place) are welcome to apply.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university (official transcripts required)
• Valid or pending state SLP licensure (must provide proof of completed application if pending)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; exceptional CFYs considered
• Experience with K-12 student populations highly valued
• Comfortable working exclusively onsite and traveling between assigned school locations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to articulate resources available to urban youth and their families during interview process

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy tailored to students’ needs
• Participate actively in IEP and MET meetings, developing goals and objectives
• Collaborate with educators, families, and ancillary staff to integrate language strategies into everyday classroom life
• Maintain meticulous records in compliance with district, state, and federal standards
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, produce detailed reports, and determine eligibility for services
• Facilitate training for staff and families on AAC systems and language development approaches
• Manage therapy materials and resources effectively
• Travel between district school sites as assigned
