Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid SLP-CCC or eligibility (CFYs considered; prior supervision in place is preferred)
• Michigan licensure, or proof of pending application
• Experience working with K-12 populations; knowledge of needs in urban school communities is valued
• Ability to provide official university transcripts prior to candidacy
• Comfortable providing onsite services and traveling between school sites as needed
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills, adaptable to varied classroom environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group speech/language therapy for eligible students
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to foster language growth in the classroom and at home
• Develop and review IEP goals, participate in IEP/MET meetings, and support referral processes
• Maintain clear and thorough documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance with all regulations
• Offer training and professional development on language development and AAC strategies for staff
• Conduct thorough evaluations and generate detailed reports regarding speech and language needs
• Manage therapy materials and AAC tools to ensure continuous, effective treatment
• Provide flexible service delivery across multiple schools to meet caseload needs

This role is a full academic-year assignment, running from mid-August to mid-June, with a steady 35-hour workweek and exposure to a collaborative, multidisciplinary educational community.
