Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disabilities, alleviating pain, and enhancing muscle function to achieve maximum client capabilities.
• Oversee the activities of Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring the effective execution of care plans and compliance with established protocols.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of client function through diagnostic tests and functional assessments to establish personalized rehabilitation goals.
• Analyze clients' home environments, providing strategies to improve rehabilitation outcomes and promote independence in daily activities.
• Administer a variety of manual therapeutic exercises and physical agents, including traction and massage, tailoring interventions to each client's unique needs.
• Evaluate and modify prosthetic and orthotic devices in collaboration with physicians, ensuring optimal functionality for clients.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, including initial evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries to support ongoing care.
• Engage as an active member of the interdisciplinary team, contributing to case conferences and collaborative treatment planning initiatives.
• Educate clients and their families on physical therapy practices, device usage, and home exercise programs to further enhance their rehabilitation journey.
• Complete documentation and administrative duties timely in accordance with company policies, while actively participating in the continuous improvement of departmental practices.
