Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Development Project Manager with a strong background in Agile methodologies, specifically as a SAFe Scrum Master. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in software development and project management, demonstrating a proven track record of leading cross functional teams to deliver high quality software solutions on time and within budget. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage multiple projects while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Act as a servant leader to the development team, removing impediments and ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders and management.
• Implement and promote SAFe principles and practices across the organization.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team members to share feedback and learn from experiences.
• Manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies as necessary.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices in software development.
• Mentor and coach team members on Agile methodologies and SAFe practices.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong knowledge and experience as a SAFe Scrum Master.
• Proven experience in leading Agile software development projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
• Strong problem solving skills and a proactive approach to project management.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other Agile frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Lean).
• Familiarity with software development tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Git).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in mentoring and training teams on Agile methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• SAFe Scrum Master certification is required.
• 15+ years of experience in software development and project management.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering software projects on time and within budget.
