Accounting Manager Hybrid | Columbus, OH Salary Range: $115,000-$125,000 A well-established professional services organization is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations and oversee key financial functions, including general ledger management, financial reporting, payroll, audits, and tax compliance. Why This Opportunity Stands Out * Hybrid work schedule with flexibility * High-visibility role partnering with senior leadership * Opportunity to lead a collaborative accounting team * Broad exposure across accounting, payroll, audit, tax, and cash management functions * Stable and respected organization with a strong culture and employee tenure * Ability to make a meaningful impact through process and system improvements Key Responsibilities * Oversee the general ledger and manage month-end and year-end close processes * Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance * Manage trust accounting activities and daily cash flow operations * Oversee banking relationships, cash management, and bank reconciliations * Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors and coordinate annual audit activities * Manage tax compliance processes and partner with external advisors on filings and reporting requirements * Supervise accounting staff and provide leadership, coaching, and performance management * Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely, accurate payroll administration and compliance * Maintain and strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field * 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with increasing levels of responsibility * Prior leadership or people management experience preferred * Hands-on payroll experience, including payroll processing * Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, audits, and tax compliance * Professional services industry experience is a plus * Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills #INJUL2026 #LI-RM1 #LI-hybrid
