Work Environment

The work setting is onsite at our airy and modern outpatient office located in Chantilly. Our clinic is fully equipped with advanced therapeutic tools and technology to support a wide range of rehabilitation needs. Working alongside a team of two physical therapists and one Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will benefit from a collaborative atmosphere where shared knowledge and teamwork are prioritized. The designated work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a well-balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and understand the individual needs and objectives of each patient, ensuring a customized approach to their care.
• Maintain a productive patient load, typically managing one patient per hour to provide focused and effective care.
• Draw on your orthopedic experience to deliver targeted intervention strategies, aiming to enhance patient mobility and flexibility.
• Implement evidence-based therapies designed to improve patients' physical capabilities while minimizing reliance on medication.
• Create comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques tailored to each individual's specific challenges and goals.
• Design personalized fitness and wellness programs that not only adhere to rehabilitation goals but also promote overall health.
• Utilize motivational strategies to encourage patients throughout their recovery journey, ensuring they achieve optimal functionality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a physical therapist at S.R.T. Joints and Reflexes Therapy, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, sports-related conditions, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Our clientele is predominantly composed of individuals with private insurance, requiring personalized care plans that address their specific rehabilitation needs. You'll engage actively with clients, fostering their long-term health and wellness by promoting functional movement, strength, and overall physical fitness.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions against your license to ensure patient safety and trust.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to perform advanced physical therapy interventions.
• Experience with designing and implementing exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR software systems, specifically WebPT, to ensure smooth documentation and communication processes.

Compensation and Benefits

S.R.T. Joints and Reflexes Therapy offers a competitive annual salary in the range of $90,000 to $100,000 commensurate with experience and background.
