Job Description Summary Assist in the development and maintenance of Plan Documents, Schedules of Benefits (SOB), Summary of Benefits & Coverage (SBC), health plan ID cards, departmental policies, procedures, process workflows and standard operating procedures as well as other related materials such as reference guides, reports, and presentations. Create and maintain policies, procedures and document repository. Perform quality checks and process daily ID card orders. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
No supervisory responsibilities Client Responsibilities This is an internal and external client facing position that requires excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills (listening/verbal/written). One must be able to; manage difficult or emotional client situations; Respond promptly to client needs; Solicit client feedback to improve service; Respond to requests for service and assistance from clients; Meet commitments to clients. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience BS/BA and 1+ years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Computer Skills Intermediate knowledge of MS Office / Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and MS Excel. - Document, maintain and distribute departmental policies and procedures, process flows and standard operating procedures to ensure employees' knowledge of departmental processes.
- Interview operational and management personnel to ensure accuracy of documented policies, procedures, standard operating procedures and workflows.
- Create, maintain and distribute Plan Documents, SOB, SBC, Amendments and ID cards for health plans.
- Recommend options to ensure workflow effectiveness and efficiency as well as compliance of policies, procedures, standard operating procedures, and health plan documents.
- Assist in the publication of policies, procedures, standard operation procedures and health plan documents and maintain the electronic distribution to users throughout the department and organization.
- Review, perform quality checks and process daily ID card orders

- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
