The position is onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Union City, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' functional abilities and limitations, developing tailored treatment plans in conjunction with physician referrals.
• Implement and modify therapeutic interventions based on ongoing assessments and patient progress, demonstrating a commitment to improving functional outcomes for each individual.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities relevant to specialties such as orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine.
• Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers on injury prevention, rehabilitation strategies, and wellness to promote long-term health.
• Actively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care, sharing insights and strategies to optimize therapy outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Meet performance metrics including patient utilization goals and contribute to the achievement of business objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a varied patient demographic, addressing complex needs across orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports rehabilitation specialties. Your ability to establish meaningful patient relationships will be crucial in encouraging adherence to treatment plans and fostering an environment of trust and motivation.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid State License as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience, showcasing a strong foundation in diverse therapeutic techniques.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in electronic documentation and reporting systems.
• Ability to build rapport with patients and their families, contributing to a positive therapeutic environment.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for ongoing professional development.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, we highly value candidates with specialized training in advanced therapeutic methods, sports rehabilitation, or pediatric therapy. Certification in additional modalities or therapeutic techniques will be considered an asset to our practice.

Compensation and Benefits
