Title: Paralegal
Firm X’s Pine Brook office seeks an experienced full-time Paralegal. Health law experience preferred. Opportunity to work with multiple departments in the firm on complex life sciences and healthcare-related matters.
Responsibilities:
- Research regulatory issues and prepare summaries, memos, and related documents
- Draft, proofread and revise legal documents and other case material
- Assist counsel with the submission of licensing applications and appeals
- Assist counsel with audit review and response preparation
- Conduct document review for litigation and government investigation related matters
Qualifications:
- Health law experience preferred
- BS/BA degree required
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent paralegal curriculum
- 1+ years’ experience as a paralegal, required
- 1+ years’ experience as a Pharmacy Technician, required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficient in Westlaw
- Must be organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent research skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management
