Accounts Payable Clerk

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for processing invoices, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments, reconciling accounts, and supporting the month-end close process. The ideal candidate is organized, deadline-driven, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and code vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents.
• Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor records, including W-9s and payment information.
• Assist with month-end close by preparing AP reconciliations and accruals.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
• Support audits and perform other accounting duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts payable experience.
• Experience with invoice processing, account reconciliations, and payment processing.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Coupa ERP or accounting systems such as NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or Sage is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
