Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will engage with clients both individually and in groups. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Actively participating in clinical team meetings to collaborate on best practices and treatment strategies.

• Supporting clients in their daily treatment activities and helping them navigate challenges during their recovery journey.

• Facilitating comprehensive treatment plans alongside Primary Therapists that incorporate various therapeutic modalities tailored to each client’s needs.

• Conducting individual therapy sessions weekly and leading group counseling sessions according to the program schedule.

• Coordinating and ensuring access to all necessary treatment services for your assigned client caseload.

• Maintaining regular communication with clients' family members and referral sources to foster inclusion in the treatment process.

• Engaging in continuous quality improvement initiatives and participating in training and supervisory meetings to enhance your professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on a diverse population of clients requiring varying levels of mental health support. You will be instrumental in guiding individuals and families through their treatment journeys, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions. While experience with geriatric clients is preferred, it is not mandatory. Your contributions will directly influence the well-being of those you serve, providing them with the tools and strategies necessary for a healthier life.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field, such as MA Counseling or MA Clinical Social Work.

• A valid and active license to practice as an LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or LMFT in California; please note that we cannot accept applicants with an associate license, as they are not billable through Medicare.

• A strong proficiency in computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Suite, to maintain accurate client records and documentation.

• A self-directed approach to work, capable of managing multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
