The Role The Survey Party Chief is a full-time, field-based position responsible for leading daily survey operations and completing a variety of commercial surveying projects. Responsibilities include: Performing topographic, ALTA, boundary, and construction staking surveys Planning and coordinating daily field activities Setting up and operating robotic total stations, GNSS/GPS equipment, data collectors, and related survey equipment Reading and interpreting engineering plans, plats, legal descriptions, and project specifications Accurately collecting and documenting field data Coordinating with project managers and office staff to resolve field questions Maintaining clear field notes, photographs, and project documentation Following company QA/QC procedures and safety standards Training and mentoring helpers and other field personnel Taking ownership of assigned projects and helping drive field efficiency and quality Qualifications We\'re looking for someone with: Previous experience as a Survey Party Chief or experienced survey field crew member Strong knowledge of land surveying principles and field procedures Experience with topographic, ALTA, boundary, and construction staking surveys Proficiency with robotic total stations, GNSS/GPS, and data collectors Ability to read engineering plans, plats, and legal descriptions Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate field data Ability to troubleshoot and make sound decisions in the field Good communication and leadership skills Willingness to train and develop less-experienced crew members Valid driver\'s license Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and field conditions Why Eagle?
