Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' histories and identify the most effective treatment paths.

• Design and execute individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, employing strategies tailored to each patient’s unique experiences and needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, helping patients process their trauma, develop essential coping strategies, and promote overall healing.

• Collaborate actively with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services and ongoing support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients feel safe and heard.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources, empowering them on their recovery journey.

• Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and confidential documentation following legal and ethical standards to ensure quality care.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities that emphasize trauma-informed care, staying apprised of the latest practices and research in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including childhood trauma, combat-related trauma, and interpersonal violence. Our therapeutic focus aims not only to address symptoms but also to empower individuals towards resilience and recovery, ultimately improving their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in Arizona as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

• Strong foundation in trauma-informed care models and a solid understanding of trauma-related disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
