Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' mental health histories and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for clients to process trauma and cultivate coping strategies.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated care for patients.

• Respond to crises by providing immediate support and interventions during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and available mental health resources, assisting them in understanding the path to recovery.

• Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards to ensure compliance and confidentiality.

Your primary focus will be individuals seeking treatment for trauma and its effects, including various distressing symptoms arising from their experiences. You will work closely with each client to develop personalized strategies that promote healing, resilience, and overall mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona is essential.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and an understanding of trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a familiarity with remote counseling setups.
