Work Environment\n

This position will be primarily remote, allowing you to leverage technology for patient care while maintaining strong communication with the team. The role requires a commitment to a structured schedule of Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, while also accommodating patients’ needs for flexibility as necessary. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients’ histories and tailor appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions that facilitate the processing of trauma and the development of adaptive coping skills.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and allied mental health professionals to coordinate care and ensure a comprehensive approach to patient treatment.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support to patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring a timely and effective response.

• Educate patients and their families on understanding trauma responses and available coping mechanisms, empowering them with knowledge.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records that comply with legal and ethical standards in mental health documentation.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to ensure a holistic approach to patient care while promoting the principles of trauma-informed care within the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice primarily engages with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including but not limited to survivors of abuse, neglect, combat veterans, and individuals facing various mental health challenges stemming from traumatic events. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Colorado.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering an annual compensation of USD 90,000 to USD 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
