Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history, which aids in identifying the most appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery and building resilience, ensuring that they are tailored to the unique needs of each individual.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient healing.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process their trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and cultivate a sense of hope.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure a cohesive approach to integrated care for our patients.

• Provide crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, offering immediate support and resources to those in need.

• Educate patients and their families about understanding trauma responses, coping strategies, and available external resources for support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation consistent with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring the highest standard of care is upheld.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay updated on the latest research, advancements, and best practices in trauma therapy to provide our clients with the most effective treatment methods.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals dealing with the aftereffects of trauma, including children, adolescents, and adults. Our clinic prioritizes a client-focused approach, which includes creating individualized therapy sessions aimed at fostering recovery through understanding, respect, and empathy. By focusing on trauma-related issues, you will play a critical role in helping clients gain insights into their experiences and develop healthier coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Licensure: Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Colorado.

Compensation and Benefits\n
