Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' histories and formulate effective treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to support trauma recovery, drawing on specific therapeutic modalities such as EMDR and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, allowing patients to explore their experiences, develop coping strategies, and promote emotional healing.

• Work closely with other health professionals to ensure coordinated care and a seamless therapeutic experience for each client.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support to clients during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating a strong capacity for emotional regulation and response under pressure.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and available coping resources, fostering better understanding and engagement in the healing process.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve individuals impacted by trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your expertise and compassion will play a vital role in guiding these individuals towards recovery and helping them navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Must hold a current and valid license (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) in the state of Colorado.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure therapeutic experience is preferred, with a focus on trauma-informed care.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and therapeutic methodologies designed to promote resilience and recovery.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills that foster a non-judgmental and supportive therapeutic atmosphere.
