This position is primarily remote but involves close collaboration with a supportive team of mental health professionals. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and evaluations to determine client needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Offer individual, couples, and family counseling sessions using a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based techniques.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with industry standards and state regulations.

• Engage in weekly supervision and case reviews to enhance clinical skills and ensure effective treatment delivery.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care providers, to coordinate comprehensive care plans for clients.

• Participate in training sessions and professional development initiatives to stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The counselor will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship challenges, among other concerns. Our clients include adolescents, adults, and families seeking support in coping with both everyday stressors and significant life transitions. Moreover, an understanding of cultural sensitivity and an ability to connect with clients from various backgrounds is essential in creating a trusting and effective therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits\n
