Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work on-site in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, which is designed to provide an optimal healing environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic illnesses within the rehabilitation setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise, hands-on therapy, and advanced rehabilitation equipment.
• Monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises, treatments, and the use of assistive devices to maximize their independence in daily activities.
• Maintain up-to-date patient records in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to streamline patient care and enhance recovery processes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and participating in industry organizations to stay informed on the latest advancements in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will work with a diverse clientele, ranging from pediatric to geriatric populations, each with unique rehabilitation needs. Patients may include those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological disorders, sports injuries, and various chronic conditions. Our focus is on building therapeutic relationships that foster trust and communication, essential for guiding our patients towards achieving their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Valid Physical Therapy license in the State of Florida.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in using electronic health record systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in changing conditions.
• Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in a clinical or rehabilitation setting.
• Previous experience working with assistive devices and education for caregivers is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
