Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities through careful history review and scientifically validated assessments to determine individual needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Develop and explain personalized treatment plans to patients and families, actively involving them in setting measurable objectives for their recovery.
• Implement treatment protocols specific to each patient's assessment, continuously monitoring their progress and making necessary adjustments based on clinical findings and emerging health care best practices.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers, documenting any significant changes in patients' conditions that may require modifications in treatment or further referrals.
• Lead discharge planning by providing follow-up care instructions and ensuring that clear and timely documentation reflects all care provided, including evaluation notes, progress summaries, and discharge evaluations.
• Manage your schedule effectively to meet productivity expectations while maintaining punctuality in meetings and other professional engagements.
• Participate in community outreach and marketing initiatives to promote clinical services and educate the public on rehabilitation care options.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through continuing education opportunities and serve as a mentor to students during their clinical placements.
• Enhance the patient experience by being adaptable and flexible in care delivery, ensuring seamless access to services and addressing any barriers that may affect patient compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic caters to a diverse patient demographic, including individuals recovering from surgery, sports injuries, strokes, and other physical impairments. Understanding each patient's unique circumstances and providing targeted treatment plans is essential. You will play an integral role in not only addressing physical rehabilitation needs but also fostering a supportive and motivating environment for patients and their families.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the State of Florida is required prior to employment.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers is necessary.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with patients and interdisciplinary teams are essential.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
• Experience working in a rehabilitation facility or similar environment is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
