Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Valid Alabama ASHA certification
• Alabama Educator SLP Certificate, or eligibility to start with pending status (see official certification portal for details)
• Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
• Strong organization, collaboration, and communication skills
• Ability to comfortably travel between multiple school sites within the assignment

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students onsite
• Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations as needed
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Maintain accurate records and timely documentation per school district policies
• Rotate between assigned campuses to ensure coverage and continuity of services
