Work Environment\n

You will work in a remote setting while also having the opportunity to engage with an outpatient office environment. Our work hours are from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with some evening shifts available based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and understand the unique needs and goals of patients seeking treatment for substance use disorders.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each client.

• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions utilizing techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to facilitate positive change.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for shared experiences and collective learning during the recovery process.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to ensure integrated and coordinated care.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during substance-related emergencies, helping clients navigate acute situations.

• Educate clients and their families on addiction, recovery pathways, and available community resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing substance use disorders. You will provide tailored support to clients working through the complexities of addiction, aiming to empower them toward a sustainable recovery. This role is not only about guiding clients through recovery but also about engaging their families to foster understanding and support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Psychologist in the state of California.

• In-depth knowledge of substance use disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment models is essential.

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy specifically in the context of addiction treatment is preferred.

• Strong interpersonal skills with an empathetic approach, coupled with excellent communication abilities.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 115,000 and 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
