Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans that honor their specific goals, preferences, and treatment history.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to meet clients' unique needs.

• Provide education to clients and their families about mood disorders and empower them with coping strategies and self-care practices.

• Regularly monitor and evaluate clients' progress toward their treatment goals, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance effectiveness.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and therapeutic practices in the field of mental health to continuously improve your clinical approaches.

• Document client sessions meticulously, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards regarding confidentiality and record-keeping.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including adolescents and adults. Our clientele comes from diverse backgrounds, each with unique challenges and experiences. Your therapeutic approach will be essential in helping them navigate their mental health journeys, utilizing culturally sensitive practices to build rapport and trust.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A minimum of three years of experience in a clinical role, with a strong background in treating mood disorders.

• Extensive knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
