This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive remote setting, primarily focusing on outpatient treatment for clients coping with a range of mood disorders. The position comes with a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually , along with a sign-on bonus.

Work Environment\n

This position will be primarily remote, offering flexibility while ensuring effective patient care from an outpatient setting. The typical work hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the potential for occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and emotional impact of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Collaborate one-on-one with clients to formulate personalized treatment plans that align with their individual needs and therapeutic goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate patients' recovery.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care techniques to support ongoing wellness.

• Monitor client progress continuously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.

• Build strong collaborations with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care to patients.

• Stay informed on the latest research and evidence-based practices in the treatment of mood disorders, applying this knowledge in clinical settings.

• Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of clinical sessions, facilitating seamless communication and quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve at Navia Behavioral and Psychological Center encompass a broad demographic affected by various mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. Our approach is centered around empathy and respect, recognizing the individuality of each client, and providing therapies that cater to their specific circumstances and backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Strong background in therapy with at least two years of post-licensure experience preferred, particularly specializing in the treatment of mood disorders.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, including CBT and DBT.
\n
• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to engage effectively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals.

• A proven track record of achieving successful outcomes in treating mood-related conditions.

• Exceptional communication skills, able to build rapport with a diverse client base.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two years of demonstrated clinical experience with mood disorders.
