Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed initial assessments to evaluate mood disorder symptoms, including their severity, frequency, and duration, to inform treatment plans.

• Develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, taking into account their specific goals and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address symptoms effectively.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, helping them understand treatment options and implementing effective self-care strategies.

• Regularly monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans based on their evolving needs and responses to interventions.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and medical professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring all aspects of the client's mental health are addressed.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in mental health treatment, applying new knowledge to enhance therapeutic approaches.

• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes adhering to legal and ethical standards of practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults experiencing various mood disorders, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. Our diverse clientele spans different backgrounds, making cultural competency and sensitivity essential in your practice. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• A current and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in California is mandatory.

• Comprehensive knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities specifically for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.

• A robust understanding of psychopharmacology to collaborate effectively with prescribing psychiatrists.

• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds and varying life experiences.

Compensation and Benefits\n
